These data remain under the control of the Employer to whom you are applying. As a processor, we retain the data until instructed by the controller to delete it. CaduceusLink serves as the controller for all other information you provide during your use of our Sites.

For Employers:

For specific processes, CaduceusLink may operate as a processor for Candidate applications submitted through CaduceusLink Apply and for data you provide to CaduceusLink through Candidate Import. When you sign up for our Candidate Import service, you will be required to agree to a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with CaduceusLink, outlining the terms of our relationship. As a processor, we retain the data until instructed by the controller to delete it. CaduceusLink is the controller for all other information you provide while using our Sites.

The entity within CaduceusLink that assumes control over your information is contingent on your location and the product or service you use with us. 3.1 Publicly Available Information Transfers

When users post content on the Sites with the intention of making it searchable, CaduceusLink may aggregate and share that information with third parties. For example, if an Employer posts a job on the Sites, CaduceusLink may share that Job Listing or its information with third parties at its discretion and subject to agreement with such third parties. CaduceusLink also reserves the right to share information aggregated from public sources in this manner.

Please note that any data you include on your profile and any content you post or social actions you take on our Services may be visible to others, in line with your settings.

3.2 Profile Visibility

Your profile is visible to all Members and customers of our Services. Depending on your settings, it may also be visible to others both on and off our Services, such as visitors to our Services or users of third-party search engines. Various factors, including your settings, your degree of connection with the viewing Member, their subscriptions, usage of our Services, access channels, and search types, can impact the availability of your profile and the fields within it that others can view.

3.3 Posts, Likes, Follows, Comments, Messages

Our Services enable you to view and share information through posts, likes, follows, and comments. When you share content publicly, it can be viewed by everyone and re-shared anywhere, subject to your settings. Posts in groups are visible to others in the group. Any information shared on companies’ or organizations’ pages on our Services will be viewable by them and others who visit those pages. When you follow a person or organization, you are visible to others and the “page owner” as a follower. We notify senders when you act on their message, subject to your settings. Members may be notified when you view their profile, depending on your settings. Social actions such as liking, re-sharing, or commenting on another’s content can be viewed by others, associating it with you.

Your employer can see how you use Services they provide for your work, such as recruiting or sales tools. However, we do not show them your job searches or personal messages.

3.4 Enterprise Accounts

Your employer may grant you access to our enterprise Services, such as RecruiterLink, SalesLink, LinkED, or AdsLink. Your employer can review and manage your usage of these enterprise Services. Depending on the enterprise Service, we may request permission to share relevant data from your profile or use of our non-enterprise Services before you use the enterprise Service. For example, SalesLink users may be asked to share their “SalesLink Ratio,” a score partly based on their personal account activity. We respect the sensitivity of activities like job hunting and personal messages and do not share those with your employer unless you choose to share them through our Services (e.g., by applying for a new position in the same company or mentioning job hunting in a message to a coworker). When you use workplace tools and services, certain data may be made available to your employer or connected with information we receive from your employer to enable these tools and services, subject to your settings.

3.5 Third-Party Links

Our Sites may provide links to other third-party websites. Clicking on these links may take you away from our Sites. These partnerships introduce Candidates to CaduceusLink and our services, helping us reach diverse audiences and improve our services for them. In some cases, CaduceusLink shares limited information about Candidates with partners, such as confirmation that a Candidate has successfully created a CaduceusLink account or used one of our Sites (e.g., by applying for a certain number of jobs or using our career lab). These partnerships may also involve the joint promotion of career services. It’s important to clarify that when partners are co-branded on our site, each entity acts as a separate controller of your Personal Data.
